Training and Development

Our extensive training and development programme is designed to equip all our staff with courses suitable for them at every stage in their career. Opportunities include courses in ”being more media savvy” and crisis management to using research, and building social networks. Every staff member is encouraged to participate in training and managers ensure time is made available for it.

To ensure staff development needs are being met every member of the B-M team has an annual personal development plan (PDP each year). As well as objectives for the year ahead every PDP includes that person’s personal development goals for the year. This is to ensure that each individual’s career aspirations and goals are understood by the agency and that any specific training, coaching and experience gaining needs are identified.
